Garbage and Recycling Services Edit page

As of May 1, 2026, the Canyons HOA has entered into a 5-year contract with a unified waste management and recycling collection service for the entire neighborhood with service provider: Waste Connections. This agreement is paid for by the homeowners as an assessment as part of the yearly HOA Dues. The portion of the assessment that is allocated to the new unified trash service for the community is approximately $239.40 per year (includes trash collection and recycling, there is no fee reduction if a household opts out of recycling). Additional trash bins are available for $6 per month (also charged through HOA dues). There will be an annual contractual fee increase of 3% per year for the life of the contract.

The new unified trash and recycling collection day is Tuesday.
